Bio
Chris holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University and a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University.He has built a practice spanning both advocacy and advisory work. As a barrister, Chris has litigated and prosecuted a wide range of commercial disputes before the Superior Court of Justice, and has appeared before the Tax Court of Canada in high-stakes tax litigation matters. As a solicitor, he has acted as in-house legal counsel to established, multi-generational Canadian businesses as well as emerging brands, advising on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including the frequent negotiation of multi-million dollar contracts.Chris has received several academic distinctions and awards. He graduated summa cum laude from York University and was named to the “Vingt-Deux” Master’s Honour Roll issued by Vanier College of York University, recognizing the top 22 grade point averages among the college’s 1,000 graduating students.Outside of law, Chris enjoys sports, art, travelling the Mediterranean, and discovering Toronto’s best restaurants.
